![]() You should find the requirements for the portraits in the first post of this topic (size and file names). Here you put the custom portraits you want to use in the game. In this window open containers\-macos\Data\Documents\Icewind Dale - Enhanced Edition\portraits. "Library" should appear in the menu, click it and the appropriate (library) window should open. start your Mac, left-click on "go" in your menu bar, with this menu unfolded press the "alt" key and hold it. So this is the path I followed (it's basically the same process describes except for IWDEE instead of BGEE): ![]() Hi bought IWDEE from the App store so I don't know about the beam dog version, but I think I start to understand where you get it wrong, talks about the BGEE folder which in this case should be the IWDEE folder. If I downloaded this from Beamdog instead of the App store, would that make a difference? Troubling What do I do with the alias file from BGEE? I've dragged into my documents but still no "Custom" button when selecting portraits. Much appreciated but I'm unsure how this process for BGEE fits into creating custom portraits for IWDEE. It appeared automatically for me but I don't remember if that's cause I had made one and forgotten or it created itself. Then there should be a portraits folder(though you may have to make one. You can now drag the created link to your Documents folder. Now, right click on 'Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition' and select "Make alias". Navigate to 'Containers -> -> Data -> Documents' Select that entry and a Finder window should pop up. And entry for "Library" should appear on menu. With the menu displayed, press and hold the "option" key. In Finder, click on the "Go" menu on the menubar. I don't think that the Mac App Store version makes this shortcut for you. The Beamdog installer creates a link to the folder "\Users\USERNAME\Library\Containers\\Data\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\" in your Documents folder. (Sorry)īasically you do what posted a long time ago for bgee. I just remembered I promised to post something. That's the folder you want.īengoshi helped me. The updated portrait pack is now in a dropbox link as it's a lot larger than the 200 mb limit Zippyshare allows, but I'll leave the Zippyshare version in this post just for reference.ĮDIT 3: Brand new version of the portrait pack is out! Check out my later post down this page for the link!Īm I correct in saying that that should be in applications->IWD->show packet your Documents library should be a shortcut to a folder called Icewind Dale - Enhanced Edition. I deleted the two rar files as dropping one whole rar online is a lot easier! Just click on the link and hit the big "DOWNLOAD NOW" button to get the pack (zip file now e second edit): ĮDIT 2: I wound up adding a little over 1000 pics in total, with more to come most likely within the week. To install, just extract the pics into the portraits folder.ĮDIT: I added over a 100 more portraits, cleaned up a few of the old ones, and uploaded it all to Zippyshare since the file size is a lot bigger than the 50 meg limit on the forums. All pictures belong to their respective owners. ![]() The quality of the images varies sometimes as I just got them all from Google Images. I even found some for Dragonborn and Tieflings as while they can't be chosen naturally in the game, they looked really cool so I thought "why not?!" Attached in the 2 rars are about 200 customs where I tried to be varied and get as many races and classes I could find, though a lot of it are portraits for the types of characters I typically make (there are a lot of humans and fighter classes, basically). So I got bored over the weekend and decided to make a few portraits for IWDEE.and those "few" portraits turned into around 200.
